Administration

The Grand Traverse County Administrator is appointed by the Grand Traverse County Board of Commissioners.  He is responsible for carrying out the policies, goals, and projects adopted by the Commissioners.  This department also represents Grand Traverse County in dealings with other governmental agencies.  The Administrator is responsible to oversee the daily activities of the County and the supervision of the appointed department managers.  He ensures that, whenever possible, county departments work together to provide the best possible services to the residents of Grand Traverse County.
